A consummate salesman, Nicholas grew up in northern Westchester and relocated to the North Fork, from Greenwich, CT, over a decade ago at the invitation of a cousin a local vineyard owner. Having always enjoyed the region and more specifically Southold Town for its abundance of natural beauty, quality of life, along with the nascent wine culture it was an ideal fit for him.
Licensed as a realtor first in 1985, Nicholas was active in the bucolic Hudson Valley region finding weekend retreats for city residents, mainly in the rural communities of Millbrook, Rhinebeck and historic Poughkeepsie. After September 11th Nicholas focused his sales career on North Fork real estate, first working for a start-up agency and then, in partnership with Joan Bischoff van Heemskercks Buyers Connections Realty, prior to being selected by Town & Country to assist in their management and growth, locally.
Nicholas lives in Southold, and is active in the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, the North Fork Chamber of Commerce, the Mattituck-Laurel Historical Society & Museums the Mattituck Stakeholders Committee and the Town of Southold Architectural Review Committee. In his spare time he enjoys the coastal maritime climate of the area, and can often be found beach-combing, working in his gardens, or cooking at home for friends and family.
